Questions

Treat yourself and your family to a custom session at Sara McMillian Photography.  Clients prefer to come to Sara's home studio for the farm experience.  The farm is a short scenic drive from Wichita and Hutchinson Kansas.  Sara and her family live on 160 acres and want to share this beautiful scenery with you and your people.

What is a session like?

If you have young children, sessions usually begin with children wanting to play with Gene, our donkey.  Then Sara will usually trick them into some fun photo's playing around the farm.  Sessions are very energetic and fun.  Dad's usually leave happier than mom thinking that was the most fun they had with their family in a long time.  There are no stuffy photo's allowed.  Sara has found that to get the best shots of the family is usually to let them be.  We will try for one "posey" one for the wall, but more times than not those aren't the parents favorites!

When do we need to book?

Sara books a limited number of sessions a week and usually books up 2 months in advance.  Please give us an old fashioned phone call to schedule your session! 316.640.3457

What to wear?

We schedule a consultation via coffee date or skpye to discuss outfits, locations and any special needs there are within the family / couple.  Sara also helps guide color combinations for your family to match the interior of your home or any theme you desire.

How long do I wait to receive image gallery?

2 weeks!  We will schedule an in home consultation within 14 business days of your session.  From there we will create your personal collection.  Most clients fall in love with our beautiful heirloom albums and timeless wall art.  We offer beautiful timeless collections so everytime you pass that photo you stop and think about our session and how much fun you had!
